Our weekend stay was delightful thanks to the easy walk to charming attractions like the Virginia Gift Shop and the beautiful Hawksbill Greenway, which made our city strolls even more enjoyable while also providing a peaceful park view just a few steps away.

I had an excellent experience during my visit, staying in a Deluxe King Suite. The breakfast was truly outstanding, especially Janina's fluffy pancakes and a delightful breakfast casserole that left me wanting more. Art, our host, was exceptionally accommodating and helped make our stay even more enjoyable with great local recommendations. However, the walkable dining options in the area were quite limited, and many places closed early.

Every morning started with an exceptional breakfast featuring heavenly Orange-Vanilla-Praline French Toast that could make anyone swoon! Coupled with personalized dietary accommodations—hello gluten-free options! —these meals were the highlight of my stay. I also loved the cozy vibes of the historical mansion, especially the charming stained glass windows that added an artistic touch to every corner.

Had an awesome time with friends! We explored nearby caverns and hiked in the mountains. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was truly delicious. Highly recommend getting a photo in the foyer. it’s beautiful! Can't wait to come back for another stay.

The Inn of the Shenandoah is a charming spot with large breakfasts and a cozy atmosphere, although a lack of communication about dietary preferences was disappointing. The room was clean, but the jacuzzi had some issues. Overall, a pleasant experience in a lovely location.

Decent stay with a tasty breakfast

We stopped in Luray on our way to Gatlinburg and got a spacious room in a cottage. The layout was a little weird, though. The innkeepers were super friendly, and breakfast was delicious, but all the carbs were kinda heavy—would’ve loved some healthier options. Just wish we had gotten a room in the main house!

Great spot for a quick weekend visit in Luray with very good value for money. The innkeeper was super helpful and made delicious breakfast. Definitely check out the nearby brewery for a good time.
